FACEBOOK VS. MYSPACE
Exitheuxa`s Argument

For me, the whole point of putting all of my personal business on the internet is that I WANT people to look it. I WANT random strangers to click on my profile and see all the lame shit I'm into. That's basically my major gripe with Facebook. Why can't you click on people's profile's that you don't know? I don't get it. I already know everything about my friends, looking at people's profile's who I already know is boring. Plus, there are too many bells and whistles on Facebook, sometimes I go to someone's Facebook profile and I can't make heads or tails of what is going on. And all the Vampire Bites and crap is lame.

You say looking at your friend's pages is boring, but I bet it is what you are looking at 75% of the time when you are on MySpace, yet the only way you can interact with them is by leaving them comments. Facebook allows you to interact with people in a variety of ways. To me, Facebook is a true social networking site while MySpace is for stalking, receiving friend requests from fat 47 year old men who think I look like a good time, and getting comments about that phat Macy's gift card I should totally buy.
The ability to play games with your friends, link your Flickr and Netflix accounts, and send updates to your profile from your cell phone all within a well designed, SPAM/AD FREE environment make Facebook the clear winner for me. Don't get me wrong, I like MySpace, I will keep it for the stalking, but if I want some real online social interaction Facebook is the way to go. Plus you can poke people. Now that's a real face party. Booyah.

Two compelling arguments. I wish there was a way to vote that both sites are lame.
