I am sick and tired of having my mistakes being used against me for weeks and even months after I mess up. I say, once if you have a fight and then make up you need to let it go. I propose at most a one week statute of limitations where the other person can bring it up to your disadvantage but after that it is strictly off limits. It is just not healthy to have a relationship were both people keep all their past arguments bottled up and use them against the other person in the future. If the fight was so bad to begin with then you simply should not accept the original apology and make up with the person. Once you do accept the apology, however, then the one week countdown begins. |
